Phillip is the Business Anchor for the launch of CCTV America based in Washington D.C., with a show dedicated to breaking news, global business and politics. The live show helps viewers understand economic and political issues, and during his career, has conducted over 4000+ interviews. In 2012, he was part of the first comprehensive U.S. Presidential election coverage for Asia and China. He has moderated and been a part at global events including, Davos in Switzerland, IMF World Bank Meetings, and the Clean Energy Conference in Shanghai. His coverage includes the 2011 Japanese Tsunami, the European Debt Crisis, and the U.S. Political Budget and Debt Showdown between Congress and the White House. He conducted one of the last interviews with Ms Christine Lagarde as the French Finance Minister prior to the Dominique Strauss-Kahn scandal. Phillip Yin is a graduate of the International MBA from Georgetown University in Washington D.C., an undergraduate Business degree from the University of Washington, and completed a summer program at the Harvard Business School. He previously served on the Citizen’s Oversight Council for Washington State Transportation’s Sound Transit, an appointment by the Mayor of Seattle and senior State officials. More recently, he was the Vice Chairman of the Committee of China Business for the Hong Kong American Chamber of Commerce.
